From July 2022 to May 2023 intern for Inside Carolina, I conduct player and coach interviews on a weekly basis and release breaking news stories with a quick turnaround for my readers. I also wrote stories based off our head football and basketball coach’s weekly Monday night show, wrote all opponent previews, all postgame stories and wrote my own player sidebar stories. I also participated in Inside Carolina’s Saturday morning radio show previewing the football game. Most notably, I was the first intern to bring Carolina women’s basketball coverage to Inside Carolina and from my efforts, it is now given the same attention as IC’s football and men’s basketball coverage.
